It's worse than I thought! I installed the app and reproduced the error
locally; we're apparently sending the geolocation request to about:blank
instead of the Google service. Raymond, could you file a bug in Firefox
:: Webapp Runtime and CC me please?

Josh

Oh dear. I wonder if we don't provide a GLS API key in installed app
profiles?

I've got a very simple Angular app (you can see it at
ineedit.raymondcamden.com) that makes use of geolocation. When run in
the FF simulator, it works. When run via Firefox, it works. But when
run as an installed desktop app, it fails with error code 2. Any
reason why?

Oh, I tested the app and I assumed the error was due to Nightly builds missing the Google API key. I've filed bug 988027 and uploaded a patch (I think the problem is the missing "geo.wifi.uri" pref).
