A number of improvements make it time to release the next version on the 1.4
branch. Some highlights include:
* Fixed some slowness in the column family filtering (ACCUMULO-516)
* Grouped RFile index blocks for better performance (ACCUMULO-550)
* Propagated BatchScan statistics to the monitor page (ACCUMULO-561)
* Fixed problem where master fails to fully load instances with a large root
tablet (ACCUMULO-542)
* Improved username/password handling in MapReduce jobs using Accumulo input
and output formats (ACCUMULO-489)
