Hi Guys, ASF infra fully supports Git now, independent of the actual host name which indicates a 'work in progress or WP" :)
You simply need to file an INFRA ticket [1] and request a writeable Git repo. You cannot have SVN and Git at the same time, so your SVN will be disabled to be read only at some point during the transition. If the community wants to do this, I would call a VOTE of the PMC, or simply DISCUSS thread and look for consensus. If all is well proceed with the ticket and you're good to go.
