Josh, Thanks for the info! It has been very helpful and I will contemplate possible solutions and bring any ideas to these forums and possibly open a ticket for it/them if I get anywhere with it. My current work around involves simply throwing the AccumuloSecurityException from a method that does the work of going through the iterator.
