@keith-turner you can also manually set the author on the commit if you
just want to do it yourself via the `--author=<author>` option on `git-commit`
(`git checkout`, `git rebase -i`, and `git commit --amend --author=...`). I've
done this for a few patches, didn't know if you knew about it.
