    Yeah, this is something we're trying to stick to. Adding this wouldn't be 
expressly prohibited from older branches because the o.a.a.core.iterators 
package (and its sub-packages) aren't covered in our public API definition. If 
you have strong feelings that this should show up in 1.6 or 1.7 too, make your 
argument (JIRA is probably better than here though).

    1.8 is the current "latest" so it lives in "master". A 1.8 branch will 
likely only show up after a 1.8.0 release.
