To make findbugs happy could CAS in a loop to compute the min and max,
something like :
```java
private static void computeMin(AtomicInt stat, int update) {
int old = stat.get();
while(!stat.compareAndSet(old, Math.min(old, update))){
old = stat.get();
}
}
```
