An entirely different way to achieve higher utilization is to run multiple
tservers on a single node using using containers and mesos. Not advocating
that option over this, just something I thought while trying to think of ways
to have multiple log files per tserver on a single node. This is one option
that will give multiple log files, with lots other baggage! @mikewalch is
currently experimenting with this.
