Were you using a 64bit version of RHEL or a 32bit version? I don't think much
testing has been done with the CPP library on 64bit and am unsure if it would
work out of the box on a 64bit OS. Also not sure of how APR handles 64bit
either.
I'm a bit time constrained right now so I have not had much time to look into
this.
