Ok, here's an oddity. Trying building with shared libraries disabled. This is
done by running configure as shown below:

configure --enable-shared=no
{noformat}
I had shared libraries turned off when I was debugging and when I made the
change in AprPool that was when everything started working for me. See if this
happens for you as well. If I turn on shared here it starts failing again for
me as well.
