Not sure if its the real culprit or not, although its possible we have more
than one problem. In any case the mode should have been set to non-persistent
for this test, so I've updated the code in trunk with this change.
At least we are getting some test code cleanup with all this bug hunting :)
If you want to attach you run script that would give me something else ensure
I'm running my tests in a manner that is close to what you are doing so I have
a better chance of reproducing the problem.
