I've added some changes to trunk that I hope will ensure that the
AsyncTransport doesn't cause the seg fault with the array of marshallers any
more, the change is generic enough that it won't need to be undone once we
remove the AsyncTransport. Give that a shot, hopefully that's one less thing
to trip up the tests.
