The Apache ActiveMQ project is pleased to announce the availability of Apache Apollo <http://activemq.apache.org/apollo> 1.0. Apollo is a faster, more reliable, easier to maintain messaging broker built from the foundations of the ActiveMQ project but with a radically different threading architecture which lets it scale to large number of concurrent connections and destinations while using a constant number of threads.
You can read more about Apollo and it's features at website: http://activemq.apache.org/apollo/index.html Try downloading it from: http://activemq.apache.org/apollo/download.html Setup an instance using the getting started guide: http://activemq.apache.org/apollo/documentation/getting-started.html The binary distribution's examples directory has bunch of different examples in different languages you can use to interface with the broker. Try it out and let us know what you think! -- ** *Hiram Chirino* *Software Fellow | FuseSource Corp.* *[email protected] | fusesource.com* *skype: hiramchirino | twitter: @hiramchirino<http://twitter.com/hiramchirino> * *blog: Hiram Chirino's Bit Mojo <http://hiramchirino.com/blog/>* * * * *
