I added the source from the test client that you provided in trunk as an
example in src/examples/cmstemplate-stress with the mods I made to get it
working on Linux. I seem to have broken something in there for windows. If
you want to see if you can get it working again you can then use that as the
test driver from now on. Patches welcome.
