Timothy Bish commented on AMQ-4647:
-----------------------------------
Not sure there's a specific issue to address this but we need a test of some
sort to reproduce, so if you can create one then its a good idea to test
against the latest snapshot as there are a lot of fixes for other issues in
there and one of them might just resolve whatever you are seeing.
> Virtual queues not deleted from persistence store
> -------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: AMQ-4647
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4647
> Project: ActiveMQ
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Broker, Message Store
> Affects Versions: 5.8.0
> Environment: Duplex TCP cluster with virtual topics
> Reporter: Dave Avent
>
> We are running several clusters of 2 ActiveMQ 5.8.0 nodes using TCP Duplex
> NetworkConnectors and creating virtual topics and queues on the nodes.
> When we delete queues, which are no longer required, via the WebUI or JMX we
> notice that they are appear to be deleted. However, after noticing that the
> KahaDB persistence log files started to grow and where therefore not being
> GC'd, we restarted the node only for the previously deleted queues to
> re-appear (some with pending messages).
> It seems that when we delete these queues they are not actually being
> successfully delete so when the node is restarted, and the persistence store
> is read in it's entirety the queues are recreated.
