Richard E. Silverman commented on AMQ-4693:
-------------------------------------------
Let's step back a moment. In order to support modern authentication methods
such as Kerberos, you need the capability for the client and server to exchange
an arbitrary number of messages at the beginning of a session in order to set
up a security context. That performs authentication, and provides a context
which the peers can use protect subsequent messages. Is there a way in ActiveMQ
whereby we can plug in to do this? It's been suggested to me that there is not.
