When using a dependency
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.activemq</groupId>
<artifactId>activemq-karaf</artifactId>
<type>xml</type>
<classifier>features</classifier>
</dependency>
to pull in the Karaf feature files for ActiveMQ, then this has the undesirable
side effect of pulling in code dependencies.
However, the feature files per se don't have any dependencies.
Other software (Camel, Cxf, Hawtio) don't have this issue.
When depending on their feature files, nothing else is pulled in.
I'll append a picture showing the Maven dependencies tree to clarify.
