    This is probably the best/simplest thing to do for now, but its worth 
noting for later that it could be quite inefficient and unnecessary depending 
on what happened before it got here. Its encoding the AMQP data from scratch 
using a Proton message object, when it might have encoded AMQP data already. It 
might even need to decode AMQP data first here to even get the Proton message 
object.
