Art, thx for the response. Solved the problem. You led me on the way.
I had compiled activemq-cpp on the target system whereas i compiled my wrapper libs on my pc with the cross compiler. It all started because apr will not cross compile, so I had to compile it on the target system. I then proceeded to do the same with activemq-cpp....producing the beforementioned problems. Once I moved the compiled apr libs to my pc and compiled activemq-cpp there it all works.
