Since there arent currently enough binding +1 votes cast to pass, unless another is forthcoming I'd ask infra what the options are for unwinding it, which might be more than usual given the Central sync is broken.
Aside: When you close a staging repo on Nexus, there is a field to add a description of it contents. I tend to put in the component + version + RC number. It helps when there are multiple repos open and specifically helps avoiding situations like this.
