Dom, you're correct that pom.xml for the amqp-sending-messages-multicast example has the wrong version. This is because that module is not part of the "release" profile in the parent pom.xml [1] so the version didn't get bumped during the release process. Gary already pushed a commit to resolve that problem [2]
In my opinion this isn't enough to block the release, but I won't argue with folks who do think it's a blocker.
