It won't work out of the box:
2.31.2 uses SLF4 J not 2.16.0
There are quite a few changes in roles that I'm sure of.
There might be also a few type changes long <-> int mostly
and of course there is the new paging mode that you won't be able to configure
at all.
That's only from the top of my head but I remember that it took me a while to upgrade: what you could do though is follow the different
upgrade PR that were made to update Artemis and use the not Jakarta artefacts.
