I want to propose having all of our user lists including an Unsubscribe-me link at the end of the messages. Such unsubscribe-me should include the link with enough information to remove such subscriptions. Something like:
Click here To unsubscribe you from the <mail list name> : - link to unsubscribe.... That way users will stop asking to be unsubscribed.. and any users not knowing which alias was subscribed to the list wouldn't need to look into the source of his email. Apache Infra can do that but only after we got consensus from the community, for that I'm starting a vote. Please indicate your vote with a +1 or -1.
