Please apply with resume. *Title*: ActiveMQ Administrator *Work location*: Remote *Salary*: $90k -120k/year *Work Authorization*: USC *Duration*: 1 year *Agency*: U.S. Customs and Border Protection(CBP) *Job Responsibilities*: • ActiveMQ Classic/Artemis queue manager administration, trouble shooting, configuration and on call support as needed. • Installation, configuration, and administration of ActiveMQ queue managers on distributed platform. • Provide on call support as needed to diagnose and rectify issue related to queue managers. • Responsible for clearly document requirements, design, and operation procedures for queue managers. • Migrate IBM MQ messaging implementation gradually to an Apache ActiveMQ infrastructure • Periodically provide virtual training or consultation sessions on ActiveMQ *Requirements*: • Certified Apache Committer • BS in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of related experience in ActiveMQ. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship. • Must have expert knowledge of ActiveMQ on distributed platforms. • Must have skills in diagnosing issues related to ActiveMQ queue managers. • Must have good knowledge of UNIX operating system and scripting languages (bash/korn shell, expect). • Knowledge of Java and JMS and REST interface is preferred.
