PMC wants to maintain the project anymore. Given the lack of PMC
support with no one willing to do any work on the project, I think
it's way past time to make it read only and officially announce it's
deprecated and not supported anymore. Leaving the project in an
unmaintained state is not a good look, especially given the current
landscape with all the AI generated security reports hitting the open
source world the last year.
