Saminda Wijeratne commented on AIRAVATA-744:
--------------------------------------------
They are different. system.xyz data are for back end services in the Airavata
server to use the registry. current implementation requires those property
values to be present. default.registry.xyz is required when initializing a new
registry to add a default user to the registry so that registry is functional
with a user out of the box.

> airavata-server.properties and airavata-client.properties files contain same
> property in different names. Also file contains lot of commented
> configuration which confuses the users. We need to clean up the configuration
> files.
> - Cleanup airavata-server.properties (both in server as well as in web app)
> - Cleanup airavata-client.properties
> E.g :-
> system.gateway=default
> system.user=admin
> system.password=admin
> Further down the file I see following properties also,
> default.registry.user=admin
> default.registry.password=admin
> default.registry.gateway=default
> Are these 2 things different or same ?
