Eroma reopened AIRAVATA-1333:

When searching by experiment and project description (Non mandatory) fields; if
the description is left blank/NULL these does not get filtered by the wild card
(*)
Ideally if the wild car is to search for all experiments, projects these also
need to be filtered.
