   Not sure but there were some Celery issues with some celery versions being 
unstable. You could upgrade it to latest version, or  -probably even better. 
   
   Simply upgrade Airflow and check if things are better. Using 2.9.0 makes 
generally very little sense when it's more than 1.5 year ago and it's been 
followed by 2.9.1 -> 2.9.3 with ONLY bugfixes (be definition you miss all those 
100s bugfixes implemented in those bugfix releases). Also there was 6 more 
2.10.* releases and 2.11.0 with new features and (likely) few 100s of other 
bugfixes and dependency upgrades.
   
   So my recommendation is to upgrade (and it's likely something that will take 
you least time and you can do it without waiting if someone will "guess" 
possible reason).
