Hi folks,

While tracking down zombie processes on our Airflow workers, I had a look at
airflow.utils.helpers.kill_process_tree()

As far as I can gather from the comments in the function and its use
elsewhere, the intent is to kill the given pid and all its children. But while
the child pids are killed, the root pid itself is never killed. Is this
intentional?

Kind regards,

Erik
