--- ** [tickets:#7920] Create frontend for new admin toolbar** **Status:** closed **Milestone:** unreleased **Labels:** new-admin sf-current **Created:** Fri Jul 10, 2015 07:35 PM UTC by Heith Seewald **Last Updated:** Fri Dec 18, 2015 09:38 PM UTC **Owner:** Heith Seewald **Attachments:** - [2.jpg](https://forge-allura.apache.org/p/allura/tickets/7920/attachment/2.jpg) (66.2 kB; image/jpeg) - [3.jpg](https://forge-allura.apache.org/p/allura/tickets/7920/attachment/3.jpg) (24.0 kB; image/jpeg) - [4.jpg](https://forge-allura.apache.org/p/allura/tickets/7920/attachment/4.jpg) (20.0 kB; image/jpeg) This ticket is to create a new, streamlined system for managing tools in Allura. We would like to get rid of the "admin/tools" page and give admins the ability to create/edit/reorder/remove tools directly from the 'tool bar'. The idea is to have a 'edit' mode symbolized by a locked/unlocked icon (and other style indicators) that allow for an intuitive, in-place editing experience. This, along with a contextual per-tool "Admin" section on the left navigation bar will completely replace the tools page. The front-end aspect of this ticket is to create a toolbar from a json file that makes ajax calls on modification. Attached are rough sketches of how this should function. --- Sent from forge-allura.apache.org because [email protected] is subscribed to https://forge-allura.apache.org/p/allura/tickets/ To unsubscribe from further messages, a project admin can change settings at https://forge-allura.apache.org/p/allura/admin/tickets/options.
