Allura has quite a few formencode hacks, search for
`https://github.com/formencode/formencode/issues/101` in code. Would be nice to
have the fixes upstream. We need formencode to be maintained long-term anyway,
maybe we need to fork it https://github.com/formencode/formencode/issues/140
