I loaded the jobs page and it correctly showed the jobs in order. Then I ran a
new query on Hive+Tez. The link 'New jobs available on server' showed up for 2
seconds and vanished. From there on I was unable to view the new jobs. The only
way was to reload entire Ambari.
The new-jobs link should stay till user manually clicks on it.
