Work-around in 1.6.0 is this (from Mahadev):
Edit file on ambari-server at:
/var/lib/ambari-server/resources/stacks/HDP/2.0.6/services/GANGLIA/package/templates/gangliaClusters.conf.j2
nn Ambari Server and make sure you have the only relevant/required Ganglia
Services and then restart Ambari Server.
You will then need to restart Ganglia Server via UI (Ambari).
