Hi David, What version of Ambari are you using? My guess is that due to your setup, Ambari thinks both NameNodes are in Standby (or not able to retrieve the active/standby status) and not enabling the Quick Links. Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing? In 1.6.0 and higher, you should always be able to access Quick Links for NameNodes regardless of their active/standby state: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-5652
