This is a good idea to make the links to various component UIs functional.
One side effect, I believe, is that these public IP *addresses* will be shown
in the Hosts page as well as the Host Details page, when on GCE, rather than
the actual *hostnames* (based on the current implementation - which we should
probably change to show the internal hostnames rather than public hostnames, as
the user uses the internal hostnames to bootstrap to begin with).
