This is hbase-site.xml property
On a non-kerberos cluster
zookeeper.znode.parent = /hbase-unsecure
On a kerberos cluster
zookeeper.znode.parent = /hbase-secure
This needs to be done to support disable kerberos feature otherwise HBase is 
known to have issues on start/service-check after disabling kerberos
