Apache Hive is default to derby for metastore. In Ambari, the default setting
is to configure a new MySQL database for Hive metastore. This introduces a
security hole where the newly installed mysql database is not secured. At the
same time, the options available for supported database are inconsistent
between Ambari, Hive, and Oozie. It would be nice if Ambari, and Hive both are
default to Derby for database. This would reduce migration headache for using
default options.
