Srimanth Gunturi commented on AMBARI-11851:
-------------------------------------------

[~screeley], all these configs seem to be associated with Hive Authentication.
Depending on which Authentication was used (LDAP, Kerberos, PAM, etc.)
appropriate configs will be added and removed from the UI. Some need specific
attention and hence will be recommended as empty values like
{{hive.server2.authentication.kerberos.keytab}} and
{{hive.server2.authentication.kerberos.principal}}.

The stack_advisor.py scripts now have the ability to add/remove configs via the
stack-advisor. The logic for Hive Authorization can be found at
[https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/trunk/ambari-server/src/main/resources/stacks/HDP/2.2/services/stack_advisor.py#L404].
