[~adenissov], follow up on my last comment: we raised EPIC AMBARI-13363
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13363) to start the work on
distro agnostic. You are probably interested in sub-feature JIRA AMBARI-13364
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13364) which has more info making
the common services more agnostic. Juanjo has attached a design doc in that
JIRA

It would be great if you can review and give some input.
