For some reason the Hive view wants the query window to be really wide, so much
so that if I shrink it by about 1 pixel on my display (1440x900 resolution) I
get the screenshot attached.
There are at least 2 problems here:
1. The UI is far too aggressive in stacking these elements, if this behavior
ever happens it should be at a much narrower resolution
2. It would be far better to keep the SQL query pane on top
