the solution/script to change the host names. The hosts table is not the only
place in the DB where host names are used. The script is for Ambari-2.2.0 but
it will give you an idea as to what all need to be changed for 2.1.2.1 as well.
Alternatively, you can use the ability in the agent to register with a
different hostname -
