Jaimin D Jetly commented on AMBARI-14231:
-----------------------------------------

[^AMBARI-14231.2.patch] is an addendum patch on top of the original patch
submitted by [~ndgandhi] which addresses two concerns raised on
[ReviewBoard|https://reviews.apache.org/r/41018/].

I have verified that with the changes originally submitted by [~ndgandhi] and
also after applying addendum patch, Ambari server can be compiled and Hadoop
cluster can be successfully deployed via Ambari.

I verified that Ambari functional tests as part of ambari-funtest project
(which does not run as part of Jenkins Hadoop QA job) passes successfully with
the changes.

> Benefits of upgrading to Jetty 9:
> 1. Inherent support for WebSocket
> 2. Jetty 9 implements multi protocol, TLS, push and multiplexing features of
> SPDY protocol in an efficient way. SPDY is an improvement in the network
> transport layer, it can greatly improve page load times without making any
> changes at all to a web application.
