When attempting to configure the dfs.datanode.data.dir values via Ambari UI an 
error is reported by the UI when the user enters the Apache recommended format 
of the value such as: 
{noformat}
[ARCHIVE]file:///hadoop/hdfs/
{noformat}
https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/current/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-hdfs/ArchivalStorage.html

Instead our pop-up recommends using: 

{noformat}
[ARCHIVE]/hadoop/hdfs/
{noformat}
