Hi Jefferson Almeida.

Yes, To support centOS8/rocky8/Almalinux8 we need to fix the shebang.
And even it's better go ahead with python3 as python2 is EOL. There is a
jira[1] raised for same and PR is available.
Let's continue to discuss in jira and get it merged.

Hey guys,

I was evaluating the branch-2.8 code that is in RC and would like to know
if it supports compilation and use for Centos8/Rocky8 or Almalinux8
operating systems?

I know that for python scripts in these new operating system versions it is
necessary to explicitly inform whether it will be python2 or python3, and I
see that in many files (ex:
https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/branch-2.8/ambari-common/src/main/python/ambari_commons/shell.py

is still using env.

There are some open issues for this, I would like to collaborate with this
migration if possible.
