We would like to start a discussion about AIP-2:Amoro AMS supports horizontal expansion[1]. Currently, AMS uses a master-slave mode. If a large number of Iceberg tables are managed, the master-slave mode will have performance bottlenecks, and a solution that can support horizontal performance expansion is needed. So, We propose a lightweight AMS horizontal expansion solution, in which every AMS node participates in the work and each node is responsible for maintaining a portion of the Iceberg table in a balanced manner.
