Hi Amoro developers, I'd like to start a discussion about preparing the 0.8.1 release of Apache Amoro (incubating).
Since the 0.8.0 release in May, the project has seen a number of updates, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance improvements. To make these available to users in a timely manner, I propose we begin planning for a 0.8.1 release. I'd like to volunteer for the role of release manager for this release. Of course, the assistance of a PMC member would be appreciated for any necessary permissions. I've created a tracking issue for 0.8.1 to collect all related tasks and discussions [1].
