If RC3 ends up needing a re-roll due to the missing source artifact (as Congxian noted), I’d like to propose including two more changes from master. Both cherry-pick cleanly onto 0.9.x (verified locally):
1. #4231 [1] – data-loss fix. IncrementalFileCleanup can delete data files the current snapshot still references when a parent snapshot is missing. Backport #4241 [2] is already reviewed and approved. 2. #4226 [3] – cleanup follow-up to the snapshot-expiring refactoring. Without it, 0.9.x ships both old and new code paths plus now-invalid config params. Removes dead code/config (+4/-670), cherry-picks cleanly. I’d be glad to open the backport PR. This keeps the refactoring consistent in 0.9.0 and avoids a known data-loss path. I’d appreciate your thoughts.
