Hello Amoro community, I would like to open a PPMC vote on Apache Amoro (incubating) 0.9.0-incubating RC12, the twelfth release candidate of the 0.9.0 cycle.
Context since the last round: - RC10 passed the community vote [1][2], but the follow-up IPMC vote [3] received a binding -1: the source archive carried 3,119 macOS AppleDouble (._*) entries and failed to build on Linux, and the LICENSE files had several attribution gaps. The vote was cancelled and both findings were fixed: #4390 / #4387 (the source-release script now prevents and rejects AppleDouble pollution) and #4389 / #4382 / #4388 (LICENSE and LICENSE-binary completed, including the ICU attribution, the Jersey EPL 2.0 entries, and the previously missing CDDL dependencies). - RC11 was cut from the updated 0.9.x branch but retired during pre-vote verification after two further issues were found: the mixed-format Flink 1.20 modules still referenced a wrong parent version (breaking the staging deploy), and the bundled icu4j lacked attribution in LICENSE-binary. RC12 carries exactly these two fixes plus the version bump: https://github.com/apache/amoro/compare/v0.9.0-rc11...v0.9.0-rc12 The candidate: - Release artifacts (source and binary tarballs, with signatures and SHA-512 checksums): https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/amoro/0.9.0-incubating-RC12/ - Release signing keys: https://downloads.apache.org/incubator/amoro/KEYS - Maven staging repository: https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheamoro-1090 - Git tag: https://github.com/apache/amoro/tree/v0.9.0-rc12 - Website: https://amoro.apache.org/ The release artifacts are signed with my key 4521657F6642F8DF23FD262E84027FCC19B0D30B (czy006 <[email protected]>), available in the KEYS file above. The vote will be open for at least 72 hours. It passes with a minimum of 3 binding +1 votes from Amoro PPMC members and no binding -1. [ ] +1 Approve [ ] +0 No opinion [ ] -1 Disapprove (because ...) Checklist for reference: [ ] Download links are valid [ ] Checksums and signatures verify against KEYS [ ] LICENSE, NOTICE, and DISCLAIMER are correct [ ] No unexpected binary files in the source release [ ] All source files have ASF headers [ ] Can compile from source Thanks, czy006 (Conrad Jam) [1] https://lists.apache.org/thread/fc8qryy5rwsrqqglhrzogmctkrjz4v2n [2] https://lists.apache.org/thread/c0zlx8dlxn3yhvdxcjly7t6mopbmxz26 [3] https://lists.apache.org/thread/xvbr5djyb6s3n2srg1472jfpn9lzljhx -- Best ConradJam
