I've been thinking more about this and I think we should try to tackle it for the next release. One option would be to just make sure that our API allows context to be passed in that makes it possible to process things (synchronously) in chunks, so that higher level, async APIs could limit the amount of work they do before returning to the event loop. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
