Even the Babel-transipled source is source to me and I got help from a Babel maintainer yesterday to preserve license headers in transpiled files, even though I don't expect those will be in an Apache release and only distributed through npm. I think we should proceed that way and I'll figure out something reasonable for aggregating them, although maybe in the short term it's easy enough to do by hand. Probably not where we should spend coding time right now.
